Introducing the 175L Unvented Stainless Steel Cylinder, the ideal solution for reliable and efficient hot water storage. This high-quality cylinder is designed with a nominal capacity of 175L, along with an auxiliary capacity of 105L, providing ample hot water for any household.
Constructed with a Duplex 2304L stainless steel inner cylinder, this cylinder is built to withstand even the harshest of conditions. The thermal insulation is CFCHCFC-free, making it an environmentally friendly choice with 60mm of fire-retardant insulation to ensure optimal heat retention.
The cylinder features corrugated high-performance heating coils and is fitted with an immersion heater rated at 3kw, 240volt, single phase, incoloy 825, with a thermostat with independent cut-out. This cylinder is an indirect model with two coils designed for oil, gas or electric boiler auxiliary heat input.
Additionally, the cylinder comes equipped with safety control valves, including a pressure reducing valve, expansion relief valve, pressure-temperature relief valve, and a 15 x 22mm tundish with compression fittings. The cylinder is also fitted with a factory-fitted twin thermostat with independent reset, allowing for precise temperature control between 30-70degC.
This cylinder has a diameter of 574mm and a height of 1215mm, with a weight of 216kg when full and 41kg when empty. All cylinders are pressure tested to 10.5bar, and no anode is required. This cylinder is Beab, KIWA, WRAA, WRC, and Benchmark approved and comes with a 5-year guarantee on all components except immersion heater and cylinder thermostat (which carry a 2-year guarantee).
