Description
This Copper Twin Coil Solar Cylinder is an essential component for any domestic heating system. Made from high-quality copper material, it has a capacity of 123 litres and measures 1050 x 400 in size. It features a solar coil and a boiler coil, which are designed to work together to transfer heat from traditional heating sources such as a domestic or solid fuel boiler.
The solar coil is made of high-efficiency finned tubes, with a large surface area that effectively transfers heat from the solar panels into the solar hot water cylinder. The boiler coil, on the other hand, is manufactured to BS 1566 and can be supplied as high recovery to reduce boiler cycling.
This cylinder is manufactured in compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations and relevant British Standards. It features low heat loss and factory-applied insulation to provide a highly efficient and effective way to store and provide domestic hot water. Its 50mm polyurethane foam insulation is environmentally friendly, with zero ozone depletion potential and a global warming potential of one.
This Copper Twin Coil Solar Cylinder comes with a 2-year warranty and has a dedicated solar volume of 66 litres. Its solar coil area measures 1.62m², with a boiler flow of 800mm, a boiler return of 500mm, a solar flow of 400mm, a solar return of 100mm, a cold feed of 100mm, an H stat pocket of 875mm, and an L stat pocket of 175mm.
