Introducing our Copper Twin Coil Solar Cylinder, a high-performance solution for storing and providing domestic hot water. Made from durable copper and designed to work in conjunction with a domestic heating system, this cylinder features additional coils to transfer heat from traditional heating sources like a domestic boiler or solid fuel boiler.
With a generous 163 litre capacity and measuring 1400mm x 400mm, this cylinder has ample space to store and heat water for your household's needs. The solar coil, made from high-efficiency finned tube with a large surface area, efficiently transfers heat from solar panels into the cylinder for a sustainable energy source.
The boiler coil, manufactured to BS 1566, can also be supplied as high recovery to reduce boiler cycling. The cylinder is manufactured in accordance with relevant British Standards and is compliant with Part L of the Building Regulations.
The cylinder is insulated with 50mm of polyurethane foam lagging, which can be applied up to 75mm thickness in most cases. This insulation has an ozone depletion potential of zero and a global warming potential of one, making it an environmentally friendly option.
With a dedicated solar volume of 82 litres and a solar coil area of 1.62m2, this cylinder is an effective and efficient way to store and provide domestic hot water. It also features a range of specifications such as boiler flow and return, solar flow and return, cold feed, H and L Stat pockets, and more.
