Introducing our copper twin coil solar cylinder, designed to work seamlessly with your domestic heating system. With a 150 litre capacity and a size of 1300 x 450, this cylinder is the perfect addition to any household.
Featuring a solar coil made from high efficiency finned tube with a large surface area, it efficiently transfers heat from the solar panels into the solar hot water cylinder. The additional boiler coil, manufactured to BS 1566, is designed to transfer heat from a more traditional heating source such as a domestic boiler and/or solid fuel boiler. It can also be supplied as high recovery to reduce boiler cycling.
This cylinder is manufactured in accordance with the relevant British Standards and in compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations, so you can trust that it's built to last. The factory applied insulation and polyurethane foam lagging with a thickness of 50mm ensures low heat loss and high performance heating coils. The insulation can be applied up to a thickness of 75mm and is the most environmentally friendly type available, with an ozone depletion potential of zero and a global warming potential of one.
With a dedicated solar volume of 87 litres and a solar coil area of 1.62m2, this cylinder is built to provide a highly efficient and effective way to store and provide domestic hot water. It also features a cold feed of 100mm, H Stat Pocket of 1110mm, and L Stat Pocket of 175mm.
