Introducing our copper twin coil solar cylinder, designed to work in conjunction with your domestic heating system to provide hot water efficiently and effectively. With a 200-liter capacity, this cylinder is made from high-quality copper and measures 1400 x 450mm, with a dedicated solar volume of 103 liters.
The cylinder includes a solar coil manufactured from high-efficiency finned tube with a large surface area, allowing it to transfer heat from solar panels into the cylinder. Additionally, the boiler coil, manufactured to BS 1566, can be supplied as high recovery to reduce boiler cycling.
Compliant with British Standards and Part L of the Building Regulations, this cylinder combines a high-performance heating coil with low heat loss and factory-applied insulation. The 50mm polyurethane foam insulation can, in most cases, be applied up to a thickness of 75mm, and it is the most environmentally friendly type available, with an ozone depletion potential of zero and a global warming potential of one.
The cylinder includes a variety of ports for flow and return, including a solar flow and return, a cold feed, and boiler flow and return. It also features a H Stat pocket of 1210mm and an L Stat pocket of 175mm.
