This solar cylinder has a dedicated solar volume (Vs) of 119 and a solar coil area of 1.62m2, ensuring optimal performance and efficient energy transfer. The boiler coil is manufactured to BS 1566 and can also be supplied as high recovery to reduce boiler cycling.
Our copper twin coil solar cylinders are manufactured in accordance with the relevant British Standards and in compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations. They are also equipped with factory-applied 50mm polyurethane foam insulation to minimize heat loss and reduce energy consumption. Our insulation is environmentally friendly, with an ozone depletion potential of zero and a global warming potential of one.
The cylinder includes a solar flow and return of 400mm and 100mm respectively, as well as a cold feed of 100mm and an L stat pocket of 175mm. The H stat pocket measures 1330mm, allowing for easy installation and maintenance.
