Introducing our copper twin coil solar cylinder, designed to work seamlessly with your domestic heating system. With a capacity of 320 litres and a size of 1800 x 500, this cylinder is equipped with additional coils that efficiently transfer heat from your traditional heating source, such as a domestic or solid fuel boiler, to provide you with hot water.
The solar coil is made of high-efficiency finned tube with a large surface area, which allows it to effectively transfer heat from your solar panels into the hot water cylinder. Meanwhile, the boiler coil is manufactured to BS 1566 and can be supplied as high recovery to reduce boiler cycling.
Our cylinders are manufactured in compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations and British Standards. They are equipped with factory-applied insulation that ensures low heat loss and high performance heating coils, providing you with an energy-efficient way to store and supply hot water. The cylinders are coated with 50mm polyurethane foam, which is environmentally friendly with zero ozone depletion potential and a global warming potential of one.
With a dedicated solar volume of 193 and a solar coil area of 1.62m2, this cylinder is a reliable and effective way to store hot water. It also features a cold feed of 100mm, H Stat Pocket of 1610mm, L Stat Pocket of 175mm, and insulation thickness of 50mm polyurethane foam.
