The Charge Amps Aura 4G - 2 x 22 kW 3P 32A is a powerful charging station that can simultaneously charge two vehicles at a maximum of 22 kW per socket.
The Charge Amps Aura supports OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol). OCPP enables interoperability and standardization between different charging station manufacturers and central management systems, and can be connected to a cloud service of your choice.
The Swedish industrial design of this charging station not only provides for the charging of electric vehicles, but also adds an aesthetically appealing device. The modern and beautiful design of the Charge Amps Aura is credited to Joachim Nordwall, a former industrial designer and chief designer for the sports car manufacturer Koenigsegg.
The charging station is made of durable recycled aluminum. The car charger comes with a corresponding cloud solution and offers the ability to use both the Charge Amps Cloud and other cloud services. These and other features simplify integration for businesses, housing corporations, and end users.
The Charge Amps Aura is ready for ISO 15118, which provides various capabilities in preparation for future electric vehicles that support vehicle-to-grid technology. In the future, the electric car will not only function as a vehicle but also as an energy storage system. This requires a charging station that is prepared for this technology.
The connection to the Charge Amps Cloud enables full control of the Aura charging station, including functionalities such as load balancing and scheduling. All historical reporting and statistical data are stored in the cloud.
Load balancing evenly distributes the available electrical capacity across the different charging points and the rest of the home network to prevent overloading. When multiple electric vehicles are being charged simultaneously and the total requested load exceeds the maximum power of the network, the load balancing system dynamically adjusts the charging speeds of the individual chargers. This allows the network to deliver the required energy without being overloaded.
