SoliTek solar panels are known for their durability, high yield (bi-facial panels) and, above all, the fact that they are produced in Europe, unlike almost all major brands of solar panels which are made in China.
SoliTek is also a manufacturer of BIPV solar panels, or Building Integrated PhotoVoltaics. These in-roof solar panels are integrated into the roof or facade of a building.
SoliTek, originally a private engineering company, whose expertise dates back to 1998, when the company was founded as an industrial CD factory in Vilnius, Lithuania. Since then, the company has experienced dynamic growth and development by means of diversification of its product portfolio. Today, the parent company BOD GROUP covers three main areas, including SoliTek solar technology, a supplier of high-quality solar products.
Sustainability first
A major part of SoliTek is the R&D Department. Continuous innovative development ensures that Solitek remains a pioneer in the solar industry. Not only does the company itself supply highly sustainable energy technologies, SoliTek also makes every effort to do this in a very environmentally-friendly way. The company uses renewable energy in its production and thus saves more than 400 tons of CO² in emissions every year.
The production facility is powered and cooled by a mix of renewable energies - both solar (150 kW on the roof of the building) and geothermal energy (108 boreholes, 148 meters deep), which together provide a total of 1 MW of geothermal energy.
