The 255L Unvented Stainless Steel Cylinder is a high-quality and reliable hot water storage solution designed to meet the demands of modern homes. With a nominal capacity of 255 liters and an auxiliary capacity of 180 liters, this cylinder is capable of meeting the hot water needs of even the largest households.
Featuring an immersion heater rated at 3kw, 240volt, single phase, and incoloy 825, with thermostat and independent cut-out, this cylinder is suitable for use with oil, gas, or electric boiler auxiliary heat input. The indirect model comes with two coils, including a solar coil surface area of 1.1m2 and an auxiliary coil surface area of 0.75m2.
The cylinder is made of high-quality duplex 2304L stainless steel and is corrosion-resistant, making it durable and long-lasting. It also features corrugated high-performance heating coils for efficient heat transfer and faster heating times. The thermal insulation is CFCHCFC free and fire retardant, ensuring maximum energy efficiency while also being environmentally friendly.
The 255L Unvented Stainless Steel Cylinder comes with a factory-fitted twin thermostat with independent reset, allowing for easy temperature control between 30-70degC. It also features a factory-fitted 7bar90degC pressure temperature relief valve for added safety.
The cylinder is pressure tested to 10.5bar, and no anode is required. It is Beab, KIWA, WRAA, WRC and Benchmark approved, and comes with a 5-year guarantee on all components except for the immersion heater and cylinder thermostat, which carry a 2-year guarantee.
The product also includes safety control valves such as a pressure reducing valve, expansion relief valve, and pressure temperature relief valve, as well as a 15 x 22mm Tundish with compression fittings and an expansion vessel of 12 liters.
